It hadn't been completely unheard of to have parents with entirely unrealistic expectations in his house. Maybe it was the excess of Purebloods or the ambitious nature of his house but to Adrian it hadn't been anything worth mentioning. Then there was the whole... he and his mates did not engage in feelings chat bit. To Adrian it all simply was, he dealt with it in his own way. Not the healthiest of ways but that was far from the point.
Adrian's hand flattened against the plane of her stomach, stilling in it's teasing path. "Oh I'm still an asshole." He retorted with a playful smile curving at his lips. "You don't have to worry about that changing. But I might have my moments. Let's keep that between us." So he did, not that he needed that getting around. How would the opposite sex or the same sex for that matter withstand his charms if they knew he had the potential to not be a complete dog. Or that was just his ego talking. Maybe a bit of both.
Adrian sighed softly. He could remember that dream from the last storm all too clearly even though he'd tried his damnedest to forget. "I know enough." He said simply. And that was all he said. Her next words caused the muscles in his neck to tighten. She was right. All too right and he didn't want to acknowledge that fact, though his silence was as telling as if he'd confirmed her with a rousing yes. Instead he focused the heat of her skin and the way her lips were curved just so.
He managed to not snort in laughter at her assessment of love. Oh he didn't doubt that people went bananas for it. That people did all number of ridiculous things in the name of that particular emotion but Adrian could truly say that he had never experienced it and didn't want to. Unless the kind of love you were speaking of was the kind that Angelina clearly wanted. His hands skated down the curve of her side and curled around her hips. "The magic comes from this." Adrian finally spoke as he tilted her hips and pressed into her. His lips sealed over hers as he slid her leg up, to hook around his flank. The time for talking was clearly over.
