Angelina reached out and took Alicia's hand. "You won't understand until you open it, love. It's hard to explain. It sucks, but I think we've got to open it. There should be a key around here. Big awkward looking things, old fashioned. And if you don't open your baggage soon enough, it'll just open up on you itself." Ange shrugged, not really knowing what else to say about the baggage. She wasn't really thinking about it anyways, there was much more going on in her mind. "Oli's here, yeah."
With a sigh, Angelina pulled up her legs and crossed them. "It's George. When I got here... you're just going to have to listen to me, alright? It's a long story. When I got here, George told me everything about this place. But then he told me some less-than-good news - when I was pregnant with Fred, or right after I had Fred, I forget when. Well, he'd hired Pansy Parkinson at the store. Apparently he was depressed or lonely, or whatever, and he slept with her. A bunch of times. Not only that, but he loves her. So according to the story, Pansy up and vanished one day. I guess that was enough of a smack for George, because he came back and made things all hunky dorey, without telling me about her, and then we had Roxanne."
"Well, that's not the worst of it. Pansy left because she was pregnant. With his daughter. Both Pansy and the daughter are here - the girl's name is Amelie. Truth be told, Amelie's not half bad. I haven't got a thing to say against her. Well, er, George has decided he loves Pansy. More than he loves me. So he's left me for her. What makes things worse is Roxanne showed up. And George had the fucking self-righteousness to tell my daughter that we were both seeing other people! He told her this because I slept with Fred, but we weren't seeing each other. We hadn't even talked about it. And now that we've had, we decided we weren't going to see each other."
"And, er, one more thing. I tried to have a dinner, for George, Rox, Pansy, and I. Went straight down the toilet. George blames, me of course. I mean, it was my fault but he was fucking cruel about it. He apparently blames me for everything these days 'cause Parkinson is some sort of goddess. I donno what he's doing, but I want no part in it."
