Work had been the same as always. Slow and horrid. How anyone could want to work in a bank was absolutely beyond Angelina. She would much rather be out using her hand and doing something useful. It wasn't like people on this island even really needed a bank. Ange had no idea how to set up bank loans, and she wasn't about to hand out money that wasn't hers. Most of the day she sat at her desk, twiddling her thumbs or ruining perfectly good pieces of paper with absent minded sketches. Lately she'd taken to reading, since there wasn't much other choice. Banks were quiet, and no place for Angelina Johnson-Weasley, who had always been a loud and boisterous girl. She just felt out of place there, like someone was trying to domesticate her.
After her long day, Angelina had come straight to the beach. She had a few different sets of ropes, poles, and two nets. Somehow, she was going to make a water polo court. Ange hadn't even thought of asking Oliver to help, which in hindsight - she should have. Angelina was wearing a bikini with shorts, but it was hardly modest by most people's standards. It was the type of outfit Angelina felt comfortable in, being raised in the era she had. The ropes were scattered along the beach, one in the ocean, a pole lying haphazardly, and a net almost floating away.
"BLOODY HELL," she cried when she noticed the net. Diving into the water, Angelina swam to grab it, laughing as the waves threatened to topple her over. She knew it was dangerous to swim alone, but Angelina had always taken risks. Dragging the net behind her, Angelina swam to shore and threw it on the beach. With a sigh, she picked up a pole, inspected it, and looked along the shore for something to use. She was looking for rocks, but they seemed to be in short supply.
