Who: Amelie and Luna (Open to Ginny) When: Backdated to Saturday Afternoon Where: Luna's Bungalow What: Wedding plans Rating: Low Status: Complete
In no spot of her imagination ever did Amelie see herself planning a wedding. While it was good and nice for others, weddings and marriages weren't her cup of tea. She wasn't exactly opposed to relationships, but she didn't believe in the idea of marriage, other than a need for financial stability or status. She didn't see why if two people loved each other they needed to sign a document to prove their devotion. But then again, Amelie was a bit uncertain about love itself. And she was doing perfectly fine on her own, thank you very much.
But her situation was a mite different on the island; for starters, there was no Ministry in which she held a comfortable-paying job, nor did she have a flat that was furnished and filled with all that she needed. While she still had all intentions of finding a way home, she still needed to eat and live in the time being and that required working her assigned job, as ridiculous as it was, in order to be paid. It was a bit ironic to be named Social Director when at times she was known as a workaholic and frowned upon any leisurely activity on the island when research could be done to find a way home.
A notepad and quill tucked to her chest, Amelie walked up to Luna Lovegood's bungalow and knocked on the door. Glancing at the house's other residents she noticed there was a Potter and Pansy Parkinson. She hoped to Merlin that neither her cousin or mother were in. Being with the strange Lovegood woman and planning a wedding was to be enough.
