Maybe it was odd seeing a younger version of his father standing before him then he was used to. But not nearly as odd as seeing his long since deceased grandmother who he never even got the chance to meet before now. Maybe it was also a middle child thing, but Albus was glad to have the chance to meet her first, and without his other two siblings there. He just didn't know how to handle her tears.
So he turned his attention back to his father, who did look young, but was still obviously his Father, who he saw nearly every day. The recognition in his eyes, vague, but there, was comforting. Especially after he had just gotten into it with his own mother. "Only just a little." He grinned, looking back over at lily and letting the smile land on her. If her comments in the journals were anything to go by, his grandmother was a force to be reckoned with. He went to her when she beckoned. "Hi, lily." The smile still lingered.
