The moments Angelina had alone with her daughter were blissful. It felt natural and easy, something Angelina had been a little nervous about before Roxanne arrived. There was a constant worry in her, that she hadn't been a good mother or she hadn't done anything right. George confessing his affair hadn't helped that worry, but since spending time with Roxanne, Angelina was growing more at ease with becoming a mother. Truthfully, she hadn't intended to have children so quickly out of Hogwarts. Ideally, she would have waited until she was too old to play quidditch, or an injury put her out of a job. Regardless, Ange didn't regret having children. Thought she hadn't spent a lot of time with her son, she already loved him more than she ever thought possible, and the same went for her daughter.
Upon hearing the door, Angelina went to answer it. George had said he would invite Pansy, but Ange had heard a final word. Truth be told, she was a little disappointed to see Pansy, but hardly surprised. Angelina had loved being part of the Weasleys, and she wasn't about to let Pansy ruin that for her. If being a Weasley meant putting up with Pansy, she could do it. For her family, for her children, and for all her nieces and nephews she got on well with. Angelina moved to the side of George which wasn't occupied by Pansy, and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. Her face barely brushed his, but the action was enough.
"Welcome," Angelina greeted. She nodded at Pansy and forced a smile. Taking a step backwards, Ange put her hand on the small of Roxanne's back. She could tell her daughter wasn't exactly happy with the situation, but Ange wanted to remind her that her mother was here. And if she wanted to yell and scream later, Angelina would be here for her too. "Everything's just about ready, shall we eat?"
