Helena wasn't feeling any better. She had thought after a day of laying about, keeping herself relaxed and not doing anything, things would have begun to change in the health department. She was wrong. If anything, she felt worse, especially when she moved. Her eyes were red and swollen from scratching at them all day. Her nose was dripping and her whole body just felt like a pile of useless tissue.
When the door to the bungalow opened, Helena rolled her head to the side, the sun which was still bright in the sky, for some ungodly reason, made her eyes feel like they were going to burn out of her head. Which, of course, resulted in her head giving into a dull throb. She moaned and threw her arms over her face, sinking farther into the furniture, her copy of The Odyssey left beside her, clearly not touched for some time now.
When the door was shut and the bungalow plunged back into a sort of darkness, Helena uncovered herself to see who was there. "Welcome home, Ms. Angelina."
