George + Draco
George didn’t say anything as they made their way outside, and he leaned against the wall as he let Malfoy rant. He got it. He’d made a mistake. He’d let the wrong girl go and subsequently made the woman of his dreams miserable. It hurt to hear it and even though he knew it to be true, he didn’t want to hear it anymore. He was trying to fix things. He sighed.
“Maybe you’re right, Malfoy.” He said, his tone a little more angry. “Maybe I didn’t know her as well as I should have. Hell, I know I didn’t. I figured she was better off without me, and she finally realized it and left. In a way she did. It was dumb of me to let her go. I get it. But you don’t think that I hurt at all? Not even a little bit? Yeah. It was only a couple of months of being together but I can damn well think that it was probably more meaningful than any relationship (outside of you mum) than you’ve ever had.”
George rolled his eyes, “What do I plan to do? I plan to string her along for a couple of months then go back to my charming wife of course.” he said sarcastically. “What do you think?”
