See, this was what Hugo loved about living abroad. He never had big sisters pounding on his door and yelling at him to answer. He missed that. Because Hugo knew that tone and that tone Rose was using meant he was in trouble for something he had done, something he hadn't done or something he was thinking about doing.
Shuffling to the door, Hugo opened it warily. "What? Merlin, Rose, you don't have to shout." Hugo stepped aside and let her enter, already missing his nice comfortable bed where he'd been reading. "What did I do?"
