Who: Angelina & Fred & then Roxanne as well What: Lunch date Where: One of the few places to eat in town When: Lunch hour, of course! Status/Rating: In progress, probably low
Nerves weren't usually something that bothered Angelina, but today they were. Though she knew why, she couldn't precisely place them. Was it because she'd left a note asking Fred to come half an hour earlier than Roxanne, or was it because Fred was meeting her daughter? Ange wouldn't have bet one way or the other, and instead decided it had to be a mixture of the both. She knew it would be a surreal thing for Roxanne, meeting a man who looked exactly like her father. It would have been a strange thing for anyone! But right now, Angelina was most dreading the impending conversation. She hadn't really seen or spoken with Fred since they'd slept together, and circumstances had changed since that night. It was a miracle, really, that she hadn't seen Fred yet - this island was so damn small.
At the moment, Angelina was sitting just inside the cafe doors. Her fingers were tapping the table, and she was fidgeting in her chair. Waiting for something to start had never been a strength of Angelina's, and that was always when her nerves freaked out the most. If it wasn't for the waiting, things wouldn't be nearly half as bad; exams, quidditch games, detentions, etc.
With a sigh, Angelina took a sip of her water. She knew things weren't going to be half as bad as her mind threatened. Roxanne was a delightful girl, and both she and Fred would love each other. Ange just needed to stop worrying, and get through these moments alone with her head.
