Tonks listened to everything Oliver said, her breath caught in her throat. He somehow managed to pluck out every worry in her head and tell her that she shouldn't be worried. Tonks held to Oliver tighter, her eyes filling up with tears as he spoke. She knew, logically, that what she had been doing was right, but her heart had always had doubts. Very big doubts filled her heart and Oliver had just managed to make her feel as though she wasn't the worst person in the world.
Burying her face back into his chest, Tonks couldn't hold back the tears. The last few weeks.. no. The last few months had been hell on Earth and her emotions were frayed beyond belief. She didn't believe in crying very often, big scary Aurors didn't cry, but she couldn't help herself. Tonks sobbed into his chest, letting loose of everything she'd been feeling and thinking.
