Who: Angelina & George Where: George's bungalow When: Wednesday, after work What: Discussing their marriage Status/Rating: In progress/might get high
Like most days, Angelina's day had gone incredibly slowly. She hated working at the bank, and time just couldn't seem to fly by. Today was worse than most. In the morning she'd decided to go to George's after work. To confess and discuss. Ange was full of nerves and stress, and that hadn't helped her work. She'd sat there, staring at the clock, arguing with herself every minute. For most of the day, Angelina had convinced herself going to speak with George was a bad idea, and she needed to put it off. Hell, it sounded like George had no intentions of ever telling Angelina about his affair, why did she need to discuss hers? As much as Angelina would like to keep that secret, there were other matters at hand. Such as Pansy, Amelie, and their marriage.
When 5 o'clock hit, Angelina was out of the door. She considered stopping in for a drink to calm her nerves, but decided George would be able to smell it on her. That was likely to fuel a whole different fight. On the way to his bungalow, Angelina took her time. She walked slowly, stopped to smell the flowers, and tried to have short conversations with everyone she past. In doing so, she extended her five minute walk into thirty minutes. Rounding the corner, Angelina paused on George's front step. This could quite possibly be the conversation which ended their marriage. That, or rerouted it back on track. Ange took a deep breath before knocking on the door. She was terrified. "George?" she called out, her voice shaky.
