Amelie nodded, relieved to hear someone agreed with her. "He's not my father. Those Weasley kids can call him that. I am-" She paused, not sure if she wanted to hold her mother's name anymore either. "Not his."
It was bothering her more that her mother had said she loved him, rather than the fact that he hadn't been around all of her life.
She lifted her shoulders in a miserable attempt at a shrug. "I don't know. I never really cared, I always stood by my mother's side. I only ever wanted to know his name."
