“It happened to me once too,” He said slowly, frowning a little. He didn’t want his mother to think that he was a slacker, or that he was irresponsible. “It was a couple of months ago actually. It was Victoire’s birthday and she wanted these earrings and work had been slow, but I had enough to buy them for her. Just not pay rent afterwards. Luckily, Mrs. Longbottom was around to bail me out. She let me stay at the inn for free as long as I helped her out on busy nights.” He grinned, he had it pretty lucky for the most part and he knew that for a lot of people it was because they pitied him, knew his story and felt bad for him. He didn’t care though, as long as it kept him off the street.
“Yeah, a fight. And I’m okay, I guess. My temper just gets the best of me and this guy... he was better.” Teddy just shrugged. His mother was probably thinking he was an irresponsible punk with anger issues now, but he figured it wasn’t terribly far from the case.
