Her reaction was most intriguing. She knew him. He didn't know how she could possibly have known him, but there was no way that the girl would have reacted this strongly without having had some kind of run-in with him prior to this moment. Quietly, Tom was pleased with the strength of the reaction and the absolute and utter fear that lanced through her voice. Oh, whatever he had done to her must have been quite delightful.
"You must think you're terribly important to order me from my living quarters," Tom responded, the corners of his lips twisting up into something of a smirk. He straightened up and took a few short steps toward her, just enough to perhaps make her feel more uncomfortable without being truly threatening. He was wondering just how much more of a reaction he could coax. Of course, he didn't really see this as being a problem despite the fact that they were living together. He had no intention of leaving and with how terrified she seemed of him, it was probably more likely that she would first leave.
