Reaching up for his hand, Tonks blushed bright red. "Yeah, I know." She pulled herself up (with his help) and made sure she didn't flash her knickers at the entire pub. "I try not to fall, but it's ingrained in me. I can't help it."
She wanted to kiss him. Really, really badly. But instead Tonks gave him a quick, barely there sort of hug. "Did you get the note I left on your door? I didn't read whatever you wrote." If there was one thing Tonks was it was honest. She had been dying to know what it said and it had been awful to keep her eyes shut as she ripped the page from her journal and folded it in half. Hopefully he was just nervous about the date and looking forward to getting to know her.
"Want to get some pints? I think alcohol will make this much easier."
