Startled, Ted lost his footing, falling straight back on his bum like a fool. "Ooomph!" Like the good sport he normally was, Ted laughed and shook his head. "Oy, shouldn't go around startling people like that," he teased, holding a hand over his eyes to block out the sun. "That's me. I'm sorry, but I don't think we've properly met?" He pushed himself off the ground, wiped his hands on his trousers and stuck one out. "Pleased I'm sure."
