Tonks hadn't been had fun since she and Oliver split up. It wasn't because the breakup had ruined her. Hell, she'd only known the bloke for a few months at the most. But after they ended things, Tonks remembered how bloody along she'd been on the island. Bill had shown up, but she hadn't seen him since. And there was Teddy, but he had his own friends.
She was alone.
So when Proudfoot arrived, Tonks was thrilled. It was someone familiar and a part of her world. When he ran into her home and demanded she go swimming with him, Tonks didn't argue. She shoved him out of her room long enough to put on a swim suit and then followed him to the beach.
