Thomas was distracted, not by any one thing but the island itself. Nothing about it made sense but the weather was lovely, and if he weren’t so focused on figuring it all out, he might have gone a lazed about the beach. But, despite Tonk’s insistence that getting off the island would be impossible and that Eric was just fine because He hadn’t actually been left anywhere, Thomas felt the ever growing need to get off the island and make sure his son was really okay.
He had been caught up in looking at the stores he passed that he hadn’t been looking where he was going and had barely avoided colliding with a woman. However, she had called out to him and snapped him out of his thought.
“Sorry about that, I really should have been watching where I was going.” He said, an large relaxed grin spreading over his face when her hand landed on his arm. “New here, yes. Arrived earlier today, trying to get a feel for the way of the land.” He told her. “I’m Thomas.”
