Who: Amelie Parkinson & George Weasley When: Sunday evening (backdated) Where: George's hut then the shop What: George wants to tell Amelie something important Status/Rating: Incomplete/Low
Amelie didn't have an inkling of what George wanted to speak with her about. She suspected that it had something to do with her mother (didn't it always?) after receiving a long and interrogating letter from Pansy about the ways in which Amelie's life could have been better if her father had been Draco. Surely, it was something about all that, yes? She mentally prepared herself for the line of defenses she would have to put up, to defend herself and her usually unpopular opinion.
Pulling her sweater around her, she made her way towards her father's bungalow. She hadn't spent much time with him, and somehow she always felt anxious when she knew she was about to have an encounter. She was still undecided on the matter, though she had been warming up to it. She was becoming lonely and needing of her mother's love, so naturally she had to please Pansy's desires for her daughter. And oddly, she found herself wanting to please George. She wanted his attention and to impress him, perhaps because she never knew her father off the island and to be his little girl.
Stepping up on his porch, she knocked on the door. She took a step back, crossing her arms over her chest as she waited for him to answer.
