Who: Tonks and Bella When: Friday Night Where: The Woods What: Tonks has her own way of dealing with problems. Rating: High Status: Incomplete
Tonks wasn't furious. Not in the same way Remus seemed to be. Of course she was angry and ready to hurt Bellatrix, but Tonks had learned a few things in her Auror training. Calling someone out and waving the proverbial pitchforks and the threats of a mob wasn't going to accomplish anything. Tonks spent a lot of time on the island watching people. Especially the people who wanted her dead. It seemed like a good idea to keep tabs on that lot.
She'd gone to see Teddy and saw the wounds on her son. The desire to put a stop to Bellatrix had been growing for some time now, but this had pushed her desire into high gear. Now Bellatrix was going down and Tonks was going to make sure it was done her way. Teddy was her son. Bellatrix was her aunt. Her life had ended because of that woman. Things were going to change.
Walking to the tree line had taken longer than it should have. Tonks had circled the trees and came down from the other side. She moved quietly through the trees, Tonks made her way closer to where she'd figured Bellatrix had been hiding. Thankfully the moon was bright enough to allow Tonks to actually see where she was walking. Closing in on her dear Auntie, Tonks kept her mouth straight and her mind focus on the task.
"You know," she said as she step through the trees, "I think it would be far more impressive if you went after the people you actually knew and had some issues with rather than picking on my son."
