What was this place? Why was she here? What was going on? It was strange that the second she arrived she thought first of the boy she once knew instead of the man she was dating. He followed quickly, but perhaps it was that in some strange way growing up Rodolphus had felt... It didn't matter now, he'd made his choice, and she had made hers.
Avoiding responding to his last comment about Frank... What did he know about Frank? She was just dating Frank and she could see herself falling for him. He got her heart racing, perhaps not as much, but he did. He was kind, his ideals were the same as hers, so what was the question about Frank about? How did Rodolphus have any right to bring him up? He was the one that decided to leave her behind, not the other way around.
Alice was angry as she looked at the page in her journal, the dreams she'd had since that day... The day he told her about Bellatrix Black felt like they were burning into her. She threw the journal as hard as she could against the wall. Calming herself down with slow breathing she stood up from the bed she'd been sitting on. She walked out of the place that had been assigned to her and tried to explore the island.
If she weren't so confused, scared, and hurt she probably would have enjoyed it a lot more. His handwriting had sent a shock wave through her. Alice was walking close to the grocery with a small smile at the place when she felt her spine get cold. She hadn't seen him at first but the second she did... He looked different. She wasn't sure what it was, but he looked different. Alice stopped in her tracks as she felt her heart stop. Looking at him broke her heart all over again. She couldn't hear him as she was too far away, or perhaps she forced herself not to.
Sighing she forced herself to walk straight up to him. "What? What are you playing at this time?" She demanded as her heart wanted to touch him, but her mind forced her not to. She hated him for having this effect on her.
