Who: Rodolphus and Alice When: Tuesday, Sunset Where: In town, near the shops. What: Rodolphus seeks out his old friend.
The smell of the fresh air was beautiful. He could taste the salt in the air, feel the water against his skin. Rodolphus had removed his shirt as soon as he could. It had been too long since he felt the sun against his skin and back.
Whatever the reason behind his arrival in this place, Rodolphus didn't care much. He was free and away from that cold, dank hell. Not that he regretted where he had spent the last few months. On the contrary, he delighted in the actions which had led him to his prison.
And she was here. Wasn't that a delicious twist of fate? Alice had healed quite quickly. Pity. He must not have properly showed her the depth of her betrayal. However it did give them the rare opportunity to show her once more. The thought of driving her to the brink of madness again made his lips twitch with amusement.
It wasn't hard to find Alice. He'd spent the better part of a year finding her and following her. The smell of her shampoo was a scent burnt into his memory. He could see the sway of her small hips and her laugh... well that was hardly a sound he could forget.
Lingering next to a small grocery, Rodolphus watched as Alice walked towards him. He could feel his heart race at the sight of her. "Pretty little Alice with the sweet, sweet braids," he sang under his breath.
