Teddy didn't exactly live an extravagant life outside of the island they were currently on, but there was always something a little different. Always a new place to go, new people to meet. Here, everything just felt stale. What seemed like a tropical getaway was just... routine, nearly prison like.
Okay, so Teddy was being a bit dramatic as he lay on his bed, but it was hardly his fault. He thought that once Victoire showed up, it would have been different, but it wasn't, he hadn't seen her in a while. No, instead he kept running into Katie, who he had taken to avoiding now because of the strong pull towards her verse his girlfriend.
He heard the door to the house open and he sat up, knowing who it was and chuckling at the fact that he could hear her tripping up the stairs. His relationship with his mother was a weird one, it was more of a friendship than anything else, and he was perfectly okay with that. He didn't need to be raised, he was a grown man.
"Alright," He said, a large grin already on his face as he wrapped his hands around the neck of the guitar, picking out a few notes and playing with its sound. "What song?"
