When Regulus headed back into the bungalow, he wasn't surprised to see evidence of Remus' recent return. Neither had he been surprised to see that the other hadn't been around the night before. They had been living together for a few months now and it hadn't really taken Regulus all that long to put together what was going on - especially not after Remus had handed him that lighter with the wolf on it. And not after he remembered that ridiculous nickname that Sirius had always called Remus during school.
Really, Regulus had always been incredibly good at taking in details that other people might miss; it was what had led him to the Horcrux in the end, but these were hardly even clues at this point. They were glaringly obvious - Regulus almost felt embarrassed that he hadn't pieced everything together while they were in school. Although, to be fair, they hadn't been living in such close proximity and Regulus had taken very little notice of Lupin.
He could hear Remus moving around in the bathroom, but he said nothing for the time being. It didn't seem as if Scorpius was here. Regulus headed into the kitchen and started making some tea for himself - although he took two cups out and made enough for two people.
