"I'm your first? Brill." Sirius tried not to sound too pleased and failed spectacularly. It was new knowledge for him. He hadn't ever been too bothered about keeping track of who Remus saw – if Remus saw anyone. His memory was too fuzzy to recall any name or face in particular.
Right. They were walking. Sirius noticed they were holding hands and walking when he reached to tuck himself away. It wouldn't do to go walking around with a tent in his trousers, but holding hands would be just as effective at turning heads. "You do realise we're holding hands, yeah?"
He didn't have a problem with making his feelings for Remus known. He could have snogged him in front of a hundred people, shouted bad poetry from the rooftops, and decked anyone who made an issue of it. But they'd never talked about telling everyone. Not with Tonks and Teddy on the island. Even Sirius had some apprehension about making it known, if only for their sakes.
