"Well finally admitting it is a start. Oliver is not perfect. No one is - I'm not, and neither are you. Oliver has his faults just like the rest of us. You don't have to care about him to regret it, though." Angelina rose an eyebrow and gave Adrian a glance over. "You can be sarcastic all you want, Adrian. That doesn't change the fact you don't seem to be proud of what you did." Which was good, because it made him human. It make him someone Angelina could understand. However horrible his intentions had been, Angelina believed that what he'd done did bother him. Not that she expected Oliver to believe them, and she would always be slightly more weary of Adrian now, but she needed to believe he cared. Somewhere.
"Oliver seems to think you were - are - jealous of him. Which is amusing, seeing as you constantly push him away and down. You did an asshole thing, but that doesn't mean you have to be an asshole." Which was Angelina's way of implying Adrian should apologize and put it in the past. Not that she expected him to understand what she wanted, or even do it. Hell, she didn't even expect Oliver to accept an apology, but it would at least be a start.
