"I'm sorry that came out so harshly." Evan sighed. "You asked for the truth, however, and I didn't think it would be prudent to lie." Standing up now, Evan took a few steps back. He didn't have much else that he could, or wanted to say. He knew he had to give Caradoc some time, and while he wasn't really in the mood to be patient, he knew he didn't have much else of a choice.
"I'm not in the mood to play games, Cara. What happened, it's in our lives, we can't change it. But it is the past, even if it is just a few short weeks past or a few short months."
He shrugged before finally turning and started to walk away. He stopped, turning slightly to say one last thing before leaving. "I am sorry. But you are my everything now, and I'm willing to wait for you to realize that. Just don't take too long."
