"Right? It's terribly difficult," he agreed, not letting her venom seep under his skin. It had just the opposite effect, really. Anything that made Bellatrix pissed off was bound to make Sirius as happy as a clam.
The nervous dart of her gaze brought a satisfied smirk to his face. "I'm not scared," Sirius said, shaking his head as he pushed himself up to a sitting position. Just because he wasn't afraid didn't mean he would underestimate his cousin. He wouldn't put it past her to try kicking sand at him while he was down. "Seems like you mostly go after the defenseless. Young girls. People who don't know what to expect from you. Those sorts. But I know what to expect."
