She didn’t think anything would ease her nerves completely, but Teddy’s words certainly helped and Victoire smiled softly at him as she felt herself begin to relax. “Thanks,” she whispered back before she found herself stepping inside.
“It’s really nice to meet you, Mr. Lupin.” she greeted brightly after Teddy made his introductions. Mr. Lupin. That was nice to say. He had always just been Teddy’s dad in her mind. In fact, Victoire had to stop short of calling him that. But to call him by a proper name somehow cemented the fact that he was really standing in front of her. It was kind of an odd sort of miracle and Victoire had to bite the inside of her cheek to keep herself from grinning too broadly. She was so glad that Teddy could have this. He deserved it.
