Remus made himself as comfortable as he could in the armchair, with a sound that was part a groan of pain and a sigh of relief. He had taken a quick glance at his bottle and noticed a problem; with his arm the way it was, opening it was going to be problematic. When James was done with his drink of rum, Remus handed him the bottle, expecting the other man to open it for him.
And he knew what James was talking about, how it related to James's own experience with Lily; she was gone. Eventually, Sirius would be gone too. The bottle was returned to him and Remus took a long pull of ale. Remus had come to terms with the fact that he loved Sirius - as more than a best mate. James had a point; it was time to stop thinking so much. He needed to enjoy this while it lasted - whatever this was.
"Yeah." Remus nodded. He had to take advantage of this while he had it. "Yeah, I think I will."
