Put another x on the calendar, summer's on its death
Aurora was nearly ready for the school year to begin. Her lessons were planned, her supplies in order and her quarters were once again neat and tidy. There was still a part of her that felt restless, almost as though she was still looking for something, but Aurora brushed it off to the best of her ability. Since she couldn't define what it was she was missing in life, Aurora show no logical reason to pursue it. Once she understood what was needed she would revisit the subject.
With just a week left before the students returned, Aurora needed to enjoy her time away from the castle while she could. Her last journey into Diagon hadn't gone so well, but she assumed this one would have far fewer explosions and hopefully far more wine. She'd sent an owl to Gideon to join her, wanting a night free of complications or emotions. While she still could, Aurora wanted to relax.
Sitting a table with a book and a bottle of red, Aurora awaited Gideon's arrived. She was in no hurry and no plans on how the evening would go. Sometimes it was nice not to know.
