"I wont send you home. I'll take you home." She wasn't his child who he was going to send to bed. If she wanted to get silly than he was all for it but he wouldn't let her make a fool of herself or put herself into harms way. If nothing else he hoped she would learn to trust him.
He smirked at her joke, dipping her briefly before resuming dancing. "Well, I'm glad I can meet one of your criteria. For a few more years at least." She was never going to get over that, was she? Higgs had hoped she would move on but clearly the thought that she was young bothered her. "If you don't drink than the club can be more disgusting than fun. It's humans at their worst, amusing but not always enjoyable to be around.
"I have. I had to learn somewhere. But don't tell on me. I wouldn't want that getting out," he teased, moving her about the dance floor.
