Higgs/Eleanor
Eleanor looked at him, realizing that she'd over reacted and her own shoulders fell as his arm moved. She wasn't surprised. Anymore she didn't even try to impress him or to be friends, one of them always messed up or kept the other at bay. All she did now was avoid the mail on the Saturdays of the announcements.
"I'm sorry," she responded, looking at him. "That was nice," she admitted with a small sigh herself. She sipped the cocktail and immedeately realized she didn't like it. It was too strong. "I may just find some champagne later," she conceded, setting the cocktail on the next floating tray. "It's not that I don't like it," she defended a moment. "I just don't like... over drinking. And I haven't found much that I enjoy the taste of." It probably didn't do anything to make her more accessible.
"I can't find mine," she told him looking around again. "Silas, Rose, Kevin- they are all supposed to be here. I forgot to ask Laura. But I don't recognise anyone. I thought it'd be easier."
Turning back to look at him she decided that if he was going to try she could at least. "Do you dance?" She didn't take him for the sort that would like to.
