For her own part, Morag was having an absolute ball. She registered the way that Kevin had his hands on her, but she couldn't say she didn't like it. She stepped forward and closed the very small space that was between them, her hand resting on his upper arm. It was odd how similar the couples looked. Both she and Rose were slight and dark, while Kevin and Steve were tall and fair -- like two pairs of Morgan le Fay and King Arthur. Morag had no idea how she recalled that just now, in her slightly inebriated state, but she smiled at the thought and turned her gaze to Rose.
"Lovely to meet you, at long last," Morag replied. Despite her buzz, her words still slipped from her lips as smoothly and effortlessly as they did when she was sober. Aside from the fact that she seemed a lot more at ease with touching Kevin, no one would even know she was drunk. Probably. When Kevin called her "Miss Zeller," Morag let out a little laugh. Everyone there knew that Kevin and Rose knew each other; pretending otherwise was silly. But Morag didn't speak her thoughts, and instead took a different route.
"Your dress is just stunning, Miss Zeller. Who is it by?" Morag asked this question purposely, hoping to trip the girl up somehow. She didn't seem like someone who really knew designers.
