His back hit the wall of the elevator and the wind was knocked out of Gus. He was dimly aware that it was Dolohov of all people who was next to him, then forced his uncooperative limbs into pushing himself up. They needed to get out and -
Another crash shook the elevator and Gus was thrown off his feet again. He fell back, his arm hit the wall at an angle that sent sparks of pain right up to his shoulder but the falling didn't stop. He was flung forwards, this time his forehead connected with where the elevator's door should have been, before he stumbled back again.
Blood trickled down his face as Gus' mind finally caught up with his body. There was a solid wall of stone where the elevator's doors should have been. They were trapped.
Gus gulped and looked at Dolohov to see how the other man was faring. And then the elevator started groaning again. And moved again. Not good.
