Who: Ginny Weasley and Michael Corner When: 10/23, During the ceremony Where: A Pantry in the Ministry Rating: Medium Warnings: Language Summary: Misery loves company.
Ginny was dreading the wedding, mostly because her disobedience and foolishness was stark there for everyone to see. She'd cleaned up the gash on her cheek, but it was still obvious, as were the bruises on her face. The dress she was wearing for the wedding didn't cover up everything, though her arms and her legs were covered, as well as her back where the worst of it was. At least the words on her back weren't showing. She wished she had something to heal it, but it was healing. Healing meant scarring.
She served drinks at the beginning of the wedding, spotting Michael but not rushing over to him as she had before. As soon as people began to gather for the ceremony, though, she caught his eye and walked towards the back. Setting her tray down in the kitchen, she avoided one of the dutiful house elves and moved back towards the pantry she'd met with Michael in before.
She had a feeling tonight would have different results than before, though. Ginny hurt all over and she was scared. The defiant girl who had met him at the last wedding was being broken down, bit by bit, and it terrified her.
