Hogwarts seemed different to Lorcan as he sauntered up the winding path of the front lawns. Of course, it had been over twenty years since he had last seen the castle and even then he had only been there for barely four years of life; even less, when one took holidays into account. Still, several of the towers appeared to be crumbling and there were definite signs of neglect and decay about. It was what happened when a war forced a school to close, he supposed. Even the sight of the hut which had belonged to the tall, hairy brute seemed as if it was from a distant memory. What had his name been? Haggard? Haggis? Hag-something. Either way, he could perfectly remember being dually frightened and fascinated by the oaf, if only because they were both outcasts tossed into the whirl of the magical world.
The doors opened quite easily for him, which, to be honest, bewildered the half-vampire considering the master who had so long ago invited him inside was now dead. Either the magic worked despite a transition in ownership or the Dark lord's summons managed to work it's own magic through paper. After a bit of searching he managed to stumble upon a group of younger witches and wizards, several of which seemed to be working on improving the castle. Having absolutely no clue where to find his own master, Lorcan straightened his back, put on his best smirk and headed toward the lot.
"Hello, duckies," he greeted cheerfully. To any of them he may have been a wandering vagrant, what with the mussed shirt and slacks combined with a well-worn jacket. He would just have to beg forgiveness for showing up sans proper attire to meet the Dark lord when in his presence, but he had just returned from a lengthy tour so hopefully mercy would be on his side. Pulling a hand out of his pocket, he pointed his finger amidst them while asking, "Any chance one of you may know where to find His Royal Darkness?"
