Who: Astoria and Daphne Greengrass When: Saturday, Oct. 16th Where: St. Ives, Cornwall Rating: Medium Warnings: Language? Summary: Astoria is talking crazy. Daphne tries to pull her back from the ledge. Probably just cold feet for the bride (very, very cold feet).
Somehow Daphne was sure that the biggest explosion to come on Astoria's wedding day would be from Astoria herself. And that was saying a lot.
"It's not the end of the world." Daphne laid out in a lounger set firmly in the sandy shores of the beach. The vacation home was still within eyesight and ease of walking distance, but right about now, the Greengrass sisters needed to be out of the house and she suspected Astoria felt the same...only she needed a break from her situation. Hence, the owl where Daphne asked her sister to take a portkey to not only come see her, but hopefully get away from most breakable objects and people. Especially Theo.
After the announcement, it was a flurry of activity. The owls from their mother had started. Daphne hadn't been to the office since Draco had last been on patrol and then the explosions that had landed her in St. Mungo's with Astoria had also kept her away from work. That meant their father had been flooing more often than normal as well. Small favors.
"Do you want another?" Daphne reached for the bottle of Ogden's that was set in the bucket in the sand. Really, the eldest Greengrass sister found it hard not to enjoy the sun, the weather, and being waited for constantly. Draco had been ridiculously attentive after the accident and she had to admit she was growing rather fond of it as well.
She only hoped Astoria would see that perhaps she could have that with Theo as well.
