WHO Silas Dobbs & Tavish Urquhart
WHEN 7 October 2000 | around 2:30 (BACKDATED)
WHERE St. Mungos
RATING Low/Med
If she had had a weaker constitution she would not have been going back up to Mungo's. The words he had spit angrily at her the day before still rang clear in her mind, she hadn't even attempted to fight back, unsure of how to respond. He had made it clear that he didn't want her there and when she had left last night she had been stressed and tired and hurt and had no plans to return the next day as she had been for all the weeks that he'd been unconscious. Still, after awaking up the next morning, her sleep restless and rough Silas had come to the conclusion that he had said those things out of pain and frustration, he may have meant them on a base level, but she wasn't going to abandon him to an empty hospital room just because he had said a few mean things. She was a Hufflepuff, and Hufflepuffs did not give up, it was the call-sign of their house, and she wasn't about to let it down. Still, she needed something to placate him if he was still in a bad mood. She wasn't going to give up but she wasn't keen on being yelled at again. Silas had no idea what to get him that he would like physically wise. He ran a club and liked Qudditch, she wasn't exactly sure how to best represent that in a present like form. She had been pulling on her dress for the morning, still trying to think and also remember to pocket some money for food when the light seemed to go off in her mind. Mungo's food while not horrendous was not good either. She had been eating it for nearly three weeks, he most likely was just as tired of it as her. There was no way she could package a lunch, she didn't have a wand to keep any sort of meats chilled and he wasn't the sort (or what she knew of him) to like anything vegetarian, so she'd just have to go with dessert. By the time she completed the chocolate zucchini cupcakes she was well over her time of normally showing up. Silas had made herself a strict schedule, working with Nick in the club for a few hours after she got up in the morning, going to Mungo's to sit with Tavish at noon until seven before returning home--changing, and going down to Pure; she had gotten very good at handling herself (especially around her future father-in-law, though that was mostly avoiding him) almost feeling like she could actually manage to be the wife of a club owner whenever it was her After packaging the cupcakes up, making sure to feed the animals and saying good bye to Nick she was out to Mungos, waving at the mediwitch on his floor once she got there, that over the last few weeks she had gotten acquainted with. His door was only slightly propped open and steeling herself, she put on a smile and shoulder her way in. "Afternoon." She managed cheerily, glancing at him quickly before moving to the side table at his bed to put the plate of treats down. |
