There were times when everything went according to plan. This was one of them and he couldn't be happier about it. Nobody could tell though since his stoic nature usually decided against that. But yet everything was exactly how he had wanted and that was a feat he was proud to accomplish.
He decided to look through his 'new home' - Hogwarts, but more specifically the Headmaster's office. It was the though that Voldemort's only known rival, the person who was capable of defeating him, had occupied this chamber for so very long. And now he was deceased. So he claimed it as his throne. It was better than the Ministry or some mansion. It was infamous and by the time he was finished with his plans, the two would be handed.
England was just the beginning in his plans, but with them falling to his power, it had showed others that he was a force to be reckoned with. Though he wished to command all of Europe and eventually the world. This came with patience though since he knew with the fall of England that his goals would be harder to accomplish. Not that it mattered since in a scant month, Germany, Italy, and Russia were leaning towards him and several nations had reeled away in fear.
Yet Voldemort was deceptive and he knew that something with such innocence as submitting journals throughout England would work in his favor. He knew that the opposition would find a way to them against him but he figured with enough time that everyone would spill their innermost thoughts within it and he would still win.
He relished that thought for a moment but still it was a new day in a new era and it was time to start working and put the wheels of his plan into motion. "Dearest Ginerva," he called, knowing his voice would permeate the halls, "it is best we get back to work." It was the one perk of his station. Potter's love as his own slave. If only she knew the truth, but the suffering was too good and he was going to milk it for all it's worth. All would be told given time.
But for now. There was work that needed to be done.
