Who: Hereweald Mulciber, Su Li When: Backdated – Wednesday, September 22, morning Where: Mulciber’s home Rating: Low Summary: Su visits Mulciber
After a scrumptious breakfast of Eggs Florentine with whole wheat toast, Jam Split Welsh cakes, and juice, Mulciber excused his slave - he preferred the term servant - Demelza to the study and library. He hadn't mentioned to her that a guest was visiting near 10 AM. That would have been unlike him; Mulciber, despite his usually excellent manners, was very private about some things. His work outside of the house (and some within his house that was done at late hours) that did not involve Miss Robins was never spoken of. Someone without the proper background might have never suspected Mulciber to be a Death Eater. He fondly greeted Muggles who lived nearby and even kept some Muggle inventions in his home, including a functional telephone. It was a bizarre way to live, but Mulciber knew it caused confusion, which was a powerful ally against his enemies. Despite the fact he never admitted it, he owed much to his late Muggle stepfather, in terms of his knowledge. At times, he even thought fondly of the man, as long dead as he was.
Humming the melody of a song that was popular 30 years before, he readied the Floo fireplace in the dining room, and then stepped back and waited for his young visitor. He was looking forward to Miss Li's visit. Besides the fact he was satisfied his words had gained him new-found respect within the youngest generation of the Death Eaters, he was curious what manner of advice the young lady was seeking from him.
