The silence? It stretched on for hours. And hours. He wasn't saying anything and she was about to just turn around and walk back in. She knew the dress was slutty, it didn't suit her personality...
She did have a hard time missing his eyes though. Her heart was pounding. When he spoke up she felt a little more at ease, wondering how long there actually was of silence there. "Yes, of course, I told her-" It was quite possibly the only time she'd ever not finished a sentence. Raising a brow just a hint she wondered if she was understanding him right.
The heat didn't even rise to her cheeks. She just stared a moment because he couldn't have possibly said what she thought he'd said. A small smile began to form out of one corner of her lips, and then a small, puffed laugh- disbelieving. "I'll keep that in mind, although I don't know it's approprieate for a wedding."
Had he honestly just called her hot? Her stomach was knotting in a weird way and she needed to get back into the dressing room before she started grinning. Her cool composure could only take so much.
"Right then," she said, smoothing her hand down her side and taking a deep breath. "We'll try to hurry." Nothing she could think to say didn't sound like some little kid with a stupid crush. Turning around she waltzed back into the dressing room.
