Who: Severus Snape, Melinda Bobbin When: 19 September 2000, 9am Where: Bobbin's Apothecarie, Diagon Alley Rating: PG for now Warnings: S for Severus' snark Summary: Severus follows up on the questions he had regarding Melinda's business.
Severus strode along Diagon Alley, his robes billowing out around and behind him in a familiar fashion. People faded out of his way and did their best to not meet his eyes. He'd have found that amusing if he didn't know precisely why they were doing it. Nobody wanted to draw the attention of Albus Dumbledore's murderer just in case he decided to extend his killing spree to them. That thought darkened his expression and when he arrived at the door of the apothecary that was his destination, he looked very stormy indeed.
He'd timed his arrival for just after the shop opened. He liked to catch people early when they were still winding up for the day. Not something he had a problem with. he'd been up since just after five this morning. He'd had an potion that was about to enter its next stage and he'd needed to monitor it to ensure everything went well. This potion was going to make him a great deal of money so he didn't want anything to go wrong.
He pushed open the door and stepped into the apothecary without hesitation. He drew in a deep breath as he let the door close behind him, detecting the scent of several familiar ingredients in the air. He then began to slowly work his way around the shop as he waited for Bobbin to notice his presence.
