"Promise," she told him as she tried not to notice the way he sighed or rubbed at his eyes. Sometimes, loving someone meant not noticing things or - at the very least, not pointing them out.
At the mention of the horses, she brightened slightly and was unable to keep the grin off her face. "We do," she told him unaware of the telling use of the plural. "Steve's even looking into possibly getting a unicorn as well but the Aethonians are a lot of work by themselves. They're gorgeous Ol, I can't wait till you see them,"
There was no doubt in her mind that Oliver would see them, he had to: he was her family and she wanted him to know about her life and share in a part of it.
"I think they've figured out that I always have an apple or a sugar lump in my pocket!,"she told him conspiratorially as she leaned forward and grinned.
