"Think scales and breathing fire." He couldn't help but grin at her next comment, patting her shoulder sympathetically. "Don't worry, accidents happen to the best of people." He shot her a wink to let her know he was only joking. One day he would share the story of his birth, if Emma hadn't already. Today wasn't that day.
Well, he wasn't expecting that. "Think of what? This day? Nice and sunny. Quidditch? Best thing to take your mind off things. Arranged marriages? It's looking like I lucked out, all things considered." She was a sweet kid, he could have been saddled with a lot worse. He actually found he liked her company, when he let himself think about it at all.
He patted his stomach, making a point of obnoxiously flexing his arm in the process. "You need a lot of food to get a body like this. Preferably cake."
"I know how but it's never something I think about doing. Would you like to go sometime? I'm sure I can arrange something."
