Before the Game - Lee/Ange
"Everything is just..." she nodded in agreement knowing exactly where he'd have been going with from there. Angelina's arms went around him, again, in another tight hug. She couldn't help herself, not even a little bit. Even the siren call of Quidditch paled in comparison to seeing one of her closest and dearest friends.
Of course, that's when Lee stepped back and asked for his love letter, Angelina smirked. "A hippogryff ate it. Really. It was a tragedy. Probably the best love letter I'd ever written," she teased him.
Unknown to Lee was that she actually had written him one, quite similar to the one she wrote in Oliver's journal, and had it tucked neatly in her back pocket. She'd actually slip it to him after the game, but after Higgs asking her to help keep Lee's comments to a minimum because 'blood didn't look good on grass' she had gotten second thoughts about the whole read the letter to annoy her fiance and his peers. "Hey, Lee. Be yourself out there, just... be smart about it. Higgs can't keep his mates from retaliating if you piss 'em off too much." (Angelina also knew, should something start, she'd be right down there trying to help -- not a good place for a wandless witch.)
