With Narcissa, there's always a reason or motive behind her actions and decisions and this evening was no different. Tonight she had one very specific reason she wanted to get out of the manor, and it was her anger and disappointment in Draco. She loved her son, she did, dearly. Narcissa would do anything in her power to make sure of his well-being and happiness, and for him to be so inconsiderate and worry her sick like he had intentionally? It was one of the rare times in her life that Narcissa was actually upset with or towards Draco, and she had to get out of the Manor to keep herself from flying off the handle and letting him and the entire house hold hear what was on her mind.
Angry or not, she was going to protect his secret. Narcissa even lied to her sister, something she was not keen on doing, but she did none-the-less. She was hoping that Lucius wouldn't ask too many questions, because she simply could not lie to him. Draco put herself (and Severus) in a very awkward position, and she was less than pleased about it.
This, of course, was on top of all the stress the arranged marriage programme was bringing her. Narcissa needed - she deserved - a break from it all. That was exactly what she was doing, as tonight she was taking a night off from everything.
Everything except for from her husband and best friend. Truthfully, this evening was long over due. Narcissa dressed in one of her finest cocktail dresses, and had made certain to be a perfect vision as always, preparing for her husband's return home so they can begin their evening any where but here.
