She watched him walk, frowning just a bit deeper as he was limping. It didn't look so bad, but to think he was hurt at all made her chest ache. Food, food first, then she could take a closer look at any injuries he had. Tonks flashed him one more smile and then she turned back to the kitchen to go retrieve the food.
She went up to the big pot, grabbing the massive scoop she had on hand and a bowl. A few dips later, the stew was practically brimming in the bowl for Remus. Her other hand grabbed at the box of crackers she had bought and she carried both over to his side. She set the bowl, complete with spoon, down on the coffee table in front of him and the box of crackers. Sometimes, muggle food really was more convenient! "Alright, there we go. Something to drink? I really hope it tastes like... well, I hope it has some taste which is in someway good." She admitted with a weak smile. Cooking really wasn't her forte`.
"And it didn't worry me more. At least I knew you were coming back to yourself. You know you can come here as soon as you're able? Don't stay away just because you're calming down or cleaning up. Gods know we've seen each other at our worst, I'm not scared of it. I just want you safe." Tonks leaned over to kiss his forehead for a heartbeat before she turned upon the ball of her foot and moved back to the kitchen to get her own bowl of stew.
