Remus leaned down slightly, lifting her chin so he could plant a gentle kiss on her lips. He was still cold, but the chill was starting to fade, slowly. It was always strange being around new people right after full moons. The injuries he was starting to see as normal and regular sometimes seemed frightening and dangerous to others. It was a process, just helping others get used to what he had dealt with for years.
"Sorry, sometimes it take a little longer for me to get back to normal. I hope writing in the journal didn't worry you more," he explained as she moved around him to secure the door. "It smells wonderful. I'm starving, actually." True he had 'eaten' during the moon, but he didn't really want to say anything to Tonks about it. He wasn't sure how she'd react to him consuming a deer, even if he couldn't help it.
A shower could wait until later as he slid out of his coat, dropping it next to the bed, and walked over to sit on their bed. Mostly he just needed somewhere soft and warm to sit. He knew she was watching him as he walked rather gingerly into the flat. There was a slight limp in his step, something that came from time to time during the moons. He sank back on the bed, feeling thankful it was soft and comfortable.
